Reggae and ska musician from England, born on May 2, 1945 in Kent and passed away on March 13, 1998 on stage during a concert in Canterbury, England due to a heart attack. He was the first white artist to have a reggae hit on the Jamaican radio and he is known for his funny and explicit lyrics. He holds a record in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the most songs banned from BBC airplay. He lived in Snodland, Kent and he once changed the street sign to Dreadland.

Judge Dread was a roadie for the Rolling Stones and he was the only white musician to be invited to play at the famous Apollo Club in New York City.
