Originally recorded in Guardian Studios in Durham (UK) and released in 1980 under the label GUARDIAN RECORDS N TAPES (label created by the band themselves), this was a limited edition of 250 copies. In 1994 frech label COMBAT ROCK releases the 7" under the name "Border Guards" and with a different artwork. 37 years later, Common People reissues this British Oi! and punk gem trying to respect the original artwork, and including an insert with lyrics, etc... When this 7" was recorded none of the band members; Steve Smith, Tony Van Frater, Gaz Suart , Kid Stoker and Mitch were even 18 years old.
